By imprinting various patterns in freshly placed concrete, it's often at a lower cost to achieve the high-end look of stone or brick pavement.
Stamped concrete, often called textured or imprinted concrete, replicates stones, such as slate and flagstone, tile, brick and even wood. The wide variety of pattern and color choices make it popular for beautifying patios, pool decks, driveways and more. Additionally, it’s an affordable paving option that requires less maintenance than other materials. This popular decorative finish is ideal for most flatwork.
There are many steps involved in stamped concrete that must be executed carefully and quickly to achieve uniform results across the entire slab before the concrete sets. The pattern must be pre-planned and diagrammed, tools and labor ready to go. After the concrete is poured and allowed to set to the proper consistency, color hardeners and release agents are applied. The concrete is tested again before applying the stamp patterns. Finish work, detailing and cutting contraction joints finish the project.

FAQ FOR
STAMPED
CONCRETE
Stamped concrete takes a lot of skill and years of experience to get a beautiful finish. Be wary of low-cost contractors offering low-cost stamped concrete. This may result in very expensive repairs, time, and a big headache.
Stamped concrete can be installed in patios, pool decks, driveway, walkways, courtyards, entranceways and most residential and commercial locations.
Wild West Concrete utilizes the finest pigments available, in most instances integrally coloring the entire slab. This process allows for better color longevity and minimal fading. In conjunction with our professional sealers (not bog box store brands), it will provide many years of low maintenance.
What are the advantages of stamped concrete over other materials?
Reduced long-term maintenance and care, increased longevity, and increased property value.
Yes, you can. It is not suggested though. Buying big box store sealer brands can be risky if the sealer fails or discolors(turns yellow). This can be costly and loss of time trying to remove the sealer as it is a big process.
You should always hire a professional to seal your concrete and get it done properly, plus it is usually guaranteed!
We do everything possible by industry standards, to prevent cracks. This includes the proper sub-grade preparation to cutting the control joints in the correct locations. We offer 10 popular modern patterns - Roman Slate Texture, Majestic Ashlar Slate Pattern, London Cobble Stone Pattern, Grand Ashlar Pattern, Californian Weave Pattern, Random Stone Pattern, Regal Ashlar Slate Texture, Renaissance Slated Texture, Stones of Athens Pattern, And Classic Wood Grain Pattern.

Wild West Concrete Co. can provide multiple colors, textures, and aggregate finishes to heighten the overall appearance of the concrete with incredible durability.
Our exposed aggregate concrete creates an intricate visual effect. The finish helps expose the stones and pebbles embedded in the concrete. This gives a vintage classical tone that is reminiscent of ancient stone structures with the stronger, longer-lasting products we’re capable of producing today.
